We've been featured in numerous local, regional and statewide stories in the press and have built to nearly 3k instagram followers in under a year. This year so far, the business has generated over $110,000+ in revenue. What We Do Red Bird Produce offers fresh, locally-sourced fruits, vegetables, coffees and eggs to the Avondale neighborhood in Birmingham, Alabama. We source our product from over 20 farms throughout the state and region and offer it to our community at an affordable price. Oftentimes, by supporting our local family farms, we can offer a competitive or even lower price on our items. Over the past year we have built a loyal base through personalized service, consistent quality and buying from and promoting our local farmers. Our location is walkable for students, families and retirees who live in the area and we have a healthy cross-section of these demographics. We also service small to midsized catering companies, private chefs and local restaurants through special orders, bulk orders and our unique, high quality products. Use of Funds Raised The funds will be allocated to refinancing high-interest debt and financing essential equipment, specifically a new meat cooler. Refinancing will improve our cash flow by reducing interest payments, allowing us to reinvest in the business.
