01 · The framework

CCA's founders wrote the regulatory framework that became Title III of the JOBS Act of 2012. It created Regulation Crowdfunding: the legal path for US companies to raise capital online from everyday investors.

02 · Before Congress

The principals have testified before 5 US House and Senate committee hearings on crowdfunding and capital formation.

03 · Around the world

CCA authored the World Bank report on crowdfunding's potential for the developing world, and has advised governments and multilateral organizations in 45 countries.

04 · The data

CCA's data division, CCLEAR, built the industry's only complete dataset of Regulation Crowdfunding offerings, tracked daily since the market opened on May 16, 2016: 125 data points on every company raising online. It tracks live deals, successive rounds, and annual reports. CCLEAR data was distributed through Bloomberg's alternative-data group.
