About the offering

Crimson is an indoor plant boutique focused on rare and unusual horticultural specimens, handmade pottery, and a variety of botanically-inspired goods for the body and home. They provide an experience unlike any other nursery. Crimson started with a passion for nature and a love for florals. After a long career doing public health research, I wanted to do something to bring joy and beauty back into the community. Our first shop was a 240 sq foot space in the Temescal Alley, just enough to fit one person and a handful of plants. We grew quickly and moved into a larger space within 2 years. For years our business continued to grow and flourish. Over the years, Crimson has cultivated long lasting relationships with small artisans, artists and horticultural enthusiasts who all share the same goal - making this world a little more beautiful. We handpick our plants at the nursery to ensure they’re ready to thrive in your space for lasting interior plant design. Our pottery, apothecary and decor items are carefully selected with craft and sustainability in mind. We work one-on-one with a variety of artisans to curate our unique collection of handmade goods. We provide a holistic experience - from the look, feel and smell of the shop to the interactions we have with our customers. Use of Funds We will use the funds raised for debt refinancing and working capital for relocation/shop renovations. $200,000 (80.0%) - Debt refinance $30,000 (12.0%) - Working capital- relocation/shop renovations $5,000 (2.0%) - Financial review $15,000 (6.0%) - SMBX Funding Success Fee Our Business Plan Your investment will allow me to consolidate debt that has accrued from the fallout of Covid. I will consolidate my debt first and foremost so that I can keep the doors open and I will use the remainder of the funds to either move to a smaller location or do some remodeling to make the space sharable.
