About the offering
I created Rosalind Bakery in 2017 out of a discontent with my career as a web developer. Through sharing baked goods with my community, I found a greater sense of purpose in bringing people together. Our noteworthy sourdough and pastries quickly gained traction throughout the community eventually being sold at 7 different locations in addition to our cafe that we opened in 2019. Our community continued to show up for us during our successful SMBX raise in 2023 that helped us expand our hours of operation, hire staff, add a rooftop sign to the cafe, and refinance debt. After such a wonderful experience raising community backed funding for Rosalind’s, I wanted to come back to raise funds for my next venture. As my business has grown I've had a unique opportunity to expand into the Financial District in San Francisco. We've partnered with SF New Deal to bring vibrancy back to the vacant storefronts that were an outcome of the pandemic. Jerry's Roast Pork is a new venture that is derived from my love of bread, artisan food, and Philadelphia (the town where I grew up). Jerry's RP is named after my maternal grandfather Jerry Rabin.
