America’s New Energy Agenda is Being “Unleashed” President Trump declares “National Energy Emergency,” signing the “Unleashing American Energy” executive order Department of Energy Secretary Wright announces he wants to “Unleash a Golden Era of American Energy Dominance,” and… Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) states, “President Trump’s energy nominees show that the Trump-Vance administration is serious about unleashing affordable, reliable, American energy” And for curious investors looking to position themselves in Trump’s Energy Dominance mandate... The answer might not be what you think. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY WHY CONSIDER INVESTING IN EAGLE ENERGY METALS? Eagle Energy Metals is a resource development company positioned to play a pivotal role in America's nuclear-powered future through it's Aurora Project, what management believes is one of America's largest mineable uranium deposits. PREMIER RESOURCE: Eagle Energy Metals’ flagship asset, the Aurora Uranium Project has an JORC-compliant estimated total resource of approximately 50.6 million pounds of U3O8. EXTENSIVE WORK COMPLETE: Over 600 drill holes and more than $20 million has been invested on the property to date. ACTIVE SMR NEGOTIATIONS: Eagle Energy is currently in active negotiations with a third party to acquire and/or exclusively license proprietary nuclear technologies including small modular reactor technology (SMR). INDUSTRY TAILWINDS: The U.S. currently imports over 99% of its uranium creating a significant dependency on foreign nations and need for increased domestic production -- especially with electricity demand expected to grow significantly over the next 10 years. You may have thought the answer to Energy Dominace is as simple as “Drill, Baby, Drill.” After all, you’ve heard President Trump say many times, “America has more liquid gold under our feet than any nation on earth.” If you’re thinking about taking a position in oil and gas stocks—or even on LNG exports—you may want to understand the bigger picture of Trump's vision for Energy Dominance. Yes, America will continue to rely on oil and gas to sustain its current energy infrastructure. That's a given. However, the vision goes far beyond merely maintaining the status quo. President Trump promised during his campaign to cut energy bills in half within his first 12 months. Trump reinforced this pledge in his joint address to Congress, vowing to "Make America Affordable Again" through substantial reductions in energy costs. Yet, simply ramping up oil and gas production—even through aggressive drilling strategies—won’t achieve this ambitious goal. This isn't merely about energy independence. It's about Energy Dominance. And achieving dominance requires a transformative approach… One that ensures American homes have abundant, affordable, and reliable energy… One that provides industry with world-class infrastructure to revitalize manufacturing and fulfills the promise of "Made in America"... And one that delivers massive amounts of clean, sustainable power from the densest energy source known to humanity: Uranium. Welcome to the $1.1 Trillion Nuclear Renaissance …and how a uranium company, named Eagle Energy Metals, could help address a critical supply chain vulnerability at the heart of America's trillion-dollar Nuclear Renaissance. In 2023, U.S. nuclear power plants relied heavily on imported uranium concentrate (U3O8), using 32 million pounds from foreign sources. This compares to just 0.05 million pounds of domestically produced U3O8. As a result, imports accounted for 99% of the U3O8 used in 2023 to make nuclear fuel. Source: Energy Information Administration Although foreign suppliers currently dominate the U.S. nuclear fuel supply chain, recent federal policies are looking to significantly expand domestic uranium production and strengthen America's nuclear supply chain… The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recently received $2.7 billion in congressional funding to help revive domestic fuel production for commercial nuclear power plants, and… U.S. Representative John McGuire (VA-05), introduced the “Uranium for Energy Independence Act of 2025” – legislation that adds uranium to the United States Geological Survey's list of critical minerals How Eagle Energy Metals could help secure the domestic supply chain and play a key role in the Nuclear Renaissance Eagle Energy Metals controls one of the largest Uranium resources in the United States Current resource estimate of 50 million pounds in the Aurora Project, with a potential exploration upside of another 25m - 50m pounds of additional uranium. 600 Holes Already Drilled Unlike other junior uranium miners, who will need to literally sink money into the ground to prove out their resource, Eagle Energy Metals investors benefit from the Aurora Project's 600+ holes drilled over the previous decades to survey the amount of Uranium potential. This previous drilling, and the data it provides, represents a total estimated cost of ~$20 million in today's dollars. In Negotiations to Acquire Small Modular Reactor IP with Near-Term Revenue Potential SMR tech could lead to near-term revenue generating opportunities, by selling components into the advanced nuclear reactor technology supply chain. There's also long term potential of deploying fully vertically integrated reactors with dedicated nuclear fuel supply chain. (Note: any SMR technology acquisition would still have to undergo an application and review process before becoming operational.) Opportunity to Build ‘Heap Leach’ Processing Facility in Nevada Management believes its Nevada Property, currently undeveloped, may provide Eagle with the opportunity to vertically integrate into the nuclear fuel supply chain (while unlocking additional revenue potential by processing the ore other uranium mining companies). The emerging Nuclear Renaissance is shaping up to potentially be one of the biggest investing trends of the next decade. That's because… Americans may be on the brink of losing power In late 2024, the North American Electric Reliability Corporation warned that supply is struggling to keep up with rapidly growing demand across much of the U.S. and Canada, and that under peak conditions, several regions risk shortfalls within 1–3 years. Source: Energy Information Administration These projected deficits stem from a combination of factors: The retirement of many coal and older nuclear plants, Slow development of new, reliable generation, and... Soaring new sources of demand. Coal has been dwindling for over a decade. Once the dominant source of energy in the United States, today nearly 400 coal units supply roughly 16% of the nation’s grid. About 780 coal units, individual generators with a boiler and a turbine capable of producing electricity, have retired since 2000. Source: CoalZoom, Image: EIA If unaddressed, an electricity shortfall means inadequate power supply during peak hours, raising the specter of brownouts or forced outages to balance the grid. Source: NERC And with the incredible demands for energy likely coming from Big Tech innovations – like AI data centers, cloud computing, and crypto mining – demands on our grid are only accelerating. Source: Department of Energy’s Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, 2024 United States Data Center Energy Usage Report; According to President Trump: For AI, you will need… more electricity than we have right now. You’ll need double the energy we produce today just for that one industry, if we’re going to lead. There’s simply no way we can meet our growing power demands with intermittent renewables (like wind and solar) and battery storage alone. That’s why there is a focus to produce more nuclear power. According to the Department of Energy: Power system decarbonization modeling, regardless of level of renewables deployment, shows the US will need at least ~700–900 GW of additional clean firm capacity to reach net-zero; Nuclear is one of the few proven options that could deliver this amount of energy at scale. Nuclear does not “displace” or “compete with” renewables; decarbonization will require both new nuclear and renewable capacity. Including nuclear, and other clean firm resources, reduces the cost of decarbonization by reducing the inability to meet variable generation needs, energy storage, and transmission. Additionally, other clean energy sources, primarily wind and solar, can only produce at full capacity in optimal environments — for example, solar can’t produce electricity at night. However, demand for renewable electricity will not coincide with some of these peak production periods, whereas nuclear energy can be produced 24/7/365, and can be throttled up, or pulled back depending on demand. PLUS, on top of all that: The DOE projections show that by adding nuclear to renewables with storage, we could drop the projected generation and transmission system costs from ~$129-150/mWh to $80-94/mWh… a 37% savings Source: DOE Moreover, in order to support the current administration’s goals and the estimated power demand going forward, we'll need to produce a tremendous amount of energy to meet those demands and the Made-in-America agenda. Further, the industrial manufacturing process can require high-temperature process heat (‘High Temperature Heat’ or ‘Industrial Heat’), which can account for nearly 50% of total energy demand in that any given area. Source: DOE Today, this Industrial Heat comes almost exclusively from the combustion of coal, natural gas, oil, and wood. According to U.S. Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright: Nuclear could provide, not just electricity, but high-temperature process heat to make some of the materials that go into making a nuclear power plant and everything else we live with. “Our Goal is to Reindustrialize America, Not Deindustrialize [it].” – Department of Energy Secretary Chris Wright That’s Why We Need More Nuclear Energy Over the past few years, we’ve seen a remarkable shift in the Nuclear Narrative. For starters, public support for nuclear energy is at an all-time high. Source: Radiant Energy Group Practically speaking, nuclear energy and thus uranium, is the only realistic source of high-density fuel that we have any chance of deploying in a timeframe that matters. For entrepreneurs – and investors – who are willing to provide the capital, labor, innovation, and leadership needed to make this transition… This shift has the potential to not only serve as the backbone of what’s being called the "Fourth Industrial Revolution", it could potentially become… The largest infrastructure project in American history Between 1954 and 1991, the U.S. invested $468 billion (in 2011 dollars) to build the Interstate Highway System; the largest public works project in history. President Dwight D. Eisenhower saw the interstate highway system as critical to U.S. competitiveness, safety, and defense. He envisioned “an America where a mighty network of highways spreads across our country.” It took an investment in all 50 states and 35 years, but that’s precisely what we got. And in the process, the nation’s highway network made a massive contribution to productivity. Now, with the Trump 2.0 Administration in charge, we’re seeing some big moves being made to win the AI race: The recently announced $500 billion Project Stargate dwarfs even the Interstate Highway System, representing not just the largest infrastructure investment in American history… But a transformation of our national technological landscape on a scale not seen since the Manhattan Project. Unlike the 35-year interstate highway buildout, Stargate plans to deploy an initial $100 billion immediately, with the full half-trillion dollar investment to be completed in the next four years. Spearheaded by industry giants including OpenAI, SoftBank, Oracle, NVIDIA, and Microsoft… Stargate plans to construct 20 hyperscale data centers specifically designed to support advanced AI applications, including the development of Artificial General Intelligence. But powering this massive AI infrastructure presents an unprecedented energy challenge. According to Department of Energy reports, data centers already consume 4.4% of America's total electricity and could reach a staggering 12% by 2028—before factoring in Stargate's massive expansion. Nuclear power has emerged as a potential critical solution for these energy-intensive facilities. They have to produce a lot of electricity, and we'll make it possible for them to get that production done very easily. – President Trump How Will We Power It All? Thanks to the government initiatives such as: Nuclear Innovation and Modernization Act, The Nuclear Energy Innovation and Capabilities Act, The Energy Act of 2020, The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, The Inflation Reduction Act, and… Accelerating Deployment of Versatile, Advanced Nuclear for Clean Energy Act... America has already laid the foundation for nuclear expansion, and the new administration's initiatives further support these efforts. Today, we’re on the precipice of what could become a significant transformation in American Nuclear Energy as we begin to deploy the latest Generation IV “small modular reactor” technologies. On May 14th, 2020, the Department of Energy launched the $230 million Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program to help US-based private developers of advanced nuclear reactors demonstrate their technology…. The National Reactor Innovation Center was at Idaho National Laboratory provides resources for testing, demonstration, and performance assessment to accelerate deployment of new advanced nuclear technology concepts. These are some milestones and a tentative timeline the facility could achieve over the next decade. Source: INL …With the goal to build two reactors that can be operational within the next five to seven years. Source: DoE As mentioned earlier, today this Industrial Heat comes almost exclusively from combustion – mostly coal, natural gas, oil, and wood. Then U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette said: The decline of the U.S. industrial base, in the front end of the nuclear fuel cycle over the past few decades, has threatened our national interest and national security. This Strategy to Restore American Nuclear Energy Leadership recognizes this challenge and lays out an array of policy options to restore America’s leadership in nuclear energy and technology. As a matter of national security, it is critical that we take bold steps to preserve and grow the entire U.S. nuclear energy enterprise. The Trump Administration is committed to regaining our competitive global position as the world leader in nuclear energy. Congress also appropriated $305 million for fuel-cycle research and development, and $267 million for reactor concepts research, including for the industry-led Advanced Reactor Concepts program and the Versatile Advanced Test Reactor. And now that we’re about five years into completing this initial goal… We’re about to deploy the first batch of next generation reactors in America On March 21, 2023, the DOE announced a new department-wide initiative to strengthen engagement between the public and private sectors to accelerate the commercialization and deployment of key clean energy technologies. According to then-U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm: As we combat the climate crisis and race towards an equitable clean energy future, public and private partnerships will be more important and critical than ever before President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act provided the DOE with billions of dollars to invest in and support large-scale demonstration and deployment of clean energy technologies over the next decade. These historic investments are intended to drive commercialization and unlock even more in private investments to set the nation on a course to hit critical long-term decarbonization objectives. Source: DoE The United States is about to witness its most significant nuclear energy expansion in half a century, with 14 major reactor projects expected to progress toward operational status between 2025-2030. Source: DoE And for investors and entrepreneurs looking to potentially profit from the trend, it appears as if we’re in the early innings of what could be a secular shift in the nuclear energy markets as market expectations increase. BIG TECH IS LEADING THE WAY You may have heard about “Big Tech” making big bets on nuclear power... September 21st, 2024 - Constellation Energy has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with Microsoft that will pave the way for restarting its Three Mile Island nuclear power plant. Constellation plans to spend about $1.6 billion to revive the plant, which it expects to come online by 2028. October 15th, 2024 - Google signs a 'world first' deal to buy energy from a fleet of mini nuclear reactors to generate the power needed for the rise in use of artificial intelligence. The tech company has agreed to buy a total of 500 megawatts of power from Kairos, which was founded in 2016, and is building a demonstration reactor in Tennessee, due to be completed in 2027. October 16, 2024 - Amazon signs agreements for innovative nuclear energy projects to address growing energy demands: The reactors will be constructed, owned, and operated by Energy Northwest, and are expected to generate roughly 320 megawatts (MW) of capacity for the first phase of the project, with the option to increase to 960 MW total—enough to power the equivalent of more than 770,000 U.S. homes. These projects will help meet the forecasted energy needs of the Pacific Northwest beginning in the early 2030s. December 3, 2024 - Meta announced it will release a request for proposals (RFP) to identify nuclear energy developers to help us meet its AI innovation and sustainability objectives — targeting 1-4 gigawatts of new nuclear generation capacity in the U.S. But the more interesting story has been the action in “nuclear stocks”... This energy awakening has now evolved into a Nuclear Renaissance, with additional interest flowing into utilities, small modular reactor technology, and uranium production. Like NuScale Power Corporation (NYSE: SMR), founded in 2007, and a member of the broader Industrials sector, is up about 115% in its one-year lookback (though it has since declined amidst overall stock market volatility in 2025 year-to-date). Source: Stockcharts.com Like Oklo, Inc (NYSE: OKLO), up nearly 128% in its one-year lookback. The company was founded in 2013, and best known for its design and development of fission power plants. The stock, a member of the broader Utilities sector, picked up a gain of nearly 893% from September last year through early February 2025, though it has since declined. Source: Stockcharts.com And the newest player is NANO Nuclear Energy, Inc (NasdaqCM: NNE). Founded in 2022, the company is developing its own answer to SMR tech, though with the added punch of plans for a high-assay low-enriched uranium fuel processing facility. The stock has gained about 640% since going public in May 2024, though it’s very volatile, and has declined about 39% since its late January high. Source: Stockcharts.com And like Vistra Corp (VST): rising 340.5% on the year, outperforming even NVIDIA (though VST has declined in 2025, likely due to profit taking and the stock market’s overall volatility so far in 2025, and such that now, in the one-year lookback, VST is up 97% in its one-year lookback, dropping about 14.5% this year-to-date). Source: Stockcharts.com And finally, Constellation Energy (CEG): America's largest nuclear power generator rose 51% in a single month following Trump's election and delivered 91% gains for full-year 2024 (though CEG has since declined, such that now its one-year lookback is up 25.71%; down about 7.0% this year-to-date). Source: Stockcharts.com Private Equity Is Deploying Capital At Record Rates... In 2024, private equity and venture capital investments in advanced nuclear companies surpassed the total deal value of the past 15 years combined, driven by demand for energy to power the rapid advancement of AI. Source: S&P Global.com One major deal in October 2024: X Energy LLC, a small modular reactor company, raised $500 million, led by Amazon's The Climate Pledge Fund. Other investors in the deal include Ares Management Corp, NGP Energy Capital Management LLC, and The University of Michigan. In February 2025, this round was subsequently upsized to $700 million, with new investors including Segra Capital Management, and Jane Street joining The next largest deal was Zap Energy Inc., which raised $130 million in a Series D funding round. Other notable deals included Radiant Industries, Aalo Atomics, and Blykall A B Source: S&P Global.com Why the increase in energy investment? Because Department of Energy Secretary Chris Wright recently declared… “We’re at the start of Manhattan Project Part Two” During his Feb. 28 visit to Oak Ridge National lab, Chris Wright said: We're at the start of Manhattan Project Part Two. It is critical, just like Manhattan Project One, that the United States wins this race. We could lose this race in many ways if we don't get energy right, we don't unleash American energy, (if) we can't win the race for artificial intelligence. Wright was joined at Oak Ridge by U.S. Sen. Bill Hagerty and U.S. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, along with OpenAI cofounder and president Greg Brockman. Hagerty went on to say: [President Trump] wants to see us at the cutting edge, not only of AI, but of the energy supply to make that possible. The development that we’re seeing in the nuclear space is a huge base load for what we need in President Trump’s all-of-the-above energy strategy. The Manhattan Project was initiated in 1941, after U.S. officials learned German scientists had theorized that they could split the atom, which then could have allowed the German Nazi Party to develop an atomic bomb. Wright compared this work to the Manhattan Project, in which Oak Ridge’s uranium enrichment facility at Y-12 was instrumental in developing the atomic bomb during World War II. Now, Wright says China is the adversary with which the U.S. is competing China has huge resources. They are massively focused on artificial intelligence. If we don’t unleash American innovation and American entrepreneurs and American construction and bold moves, we will lose Manhattan Project Two. Furthering the sense of focus… On February 27, 2025, U.S. Representative John McGuire (VA-05), introduced the Uranium for Energy Independence Act of 2025. This legislation adds uranium to the United States Geological Survey's (USGS) list of critical minerals. According to Rep. John McGuire: Uranium plays a vital role in our nation’s nuclear capabilities and fuels 32 percent of the electricity in Virginia. Unfortunately, it is not designated as a critical mineral. This oversight means that our energy producers are bogged down by unnecessary regulations, and our consumers are forced to rely on energy from our foreign adversaries, which compromises our national security. The Uranium for Energy Independence Act of 2025 supports President Trump’s America First - U.S. energy dominance agenda, unlocks the potential for uranium use, and lists uranium on the United States Geological Survey’s critical mineral list. I am proud to introduce this bill and take an important step toward securing our supply chains, promoting uranium as a critical mineral, and reducing our reliance on foreign nations. Why isn’t it already a critical mineral you ask? On December 20, 2017, Donald Trump issued Executive Order 13817, “A Federal Strategy to Ensure Secure and Reliable Supplies of Critical Minerals.” While this executive order didn't specifically mention uranium reclassification, it did establish the definition and process for identifying critical minerals: Sec. 2 . Definition. (a) A “critical mineral” is a mineral identified by the Secretary of the Interior pursuant to subsection (b) of this section to be (i) a non-fuel mineral or mineral material essential to the economic and national security of the United States, (ii) the supply chain of which is vulnerable to disruption, and (iii) that serves an essential function in the manufacturing of a product, the absence of which would have significant consequences for our economy or our national security. As a result of the executive order, the Department of the Interior was tasked with creating a list of minerals deemed critical to U.S. national security and economic interests. In May 2018, with the help of USGS, the DOI responded by publishing a list of 35 critical minerals. This list included uranium. Later, on September 30, 2020, Trump issued a follow-up executive order – Executive Order #13959: Addressing the Threat to the Domestic Supply Chain from the Reliance on Critical Minerals from Foreign Adversaries – declaring a national emergency regarding U.S. reliance on these 35 critical minerals (including uranium) from foreign sources. However, uranium's inclusion on the list was short-lived. Initially, the USGS justified uranium’s inclusion based on America's heavy dependence on imports and the mineral’s concentrated global production. But two years later, the USGS elected to exclude all fuel minerals from the list, effectively removing uranium. In November 2023, the Biden administration announced new actions to secure supply chains for critical minerals — but notably removed uranium from the updated list of critical minerals. Despite removing uranium from the critical minerals list, the Biden administration included provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) to support nuclear power plants: IRA Tax Credits: The IRA provided production tax credits for existing nuclear power plants, helping prevent closures due to financial pressures Climate Goals: Nuclear energy was recognized as essential for achieving climate goals due to its carbon-free electricity generation But with President Trump back in office, uranium is back in the spotlight. In fact, he recently declared a "National Energy Emergency". Add on the recent spat with our friendly neighbors to the north that’s already sending the cost of uranium higher… The Trump administration may take decisive action on this issue, and it might come sooner than later. If uranium is reclassified as a critical mineral, federal agencies could be mandated to purchase domestic uranium for the nation’s strategic reserves, although this has yet to be realized. This forced buying could create demand in the market, potentially driving up prices... and potentially benefiting anyone who happens to have exposure to the American Nuclear Fuel Supply Chain. Reclassification may potentially prioritize permitting and funding for domestic uranium mining initiatives, while projects previously stalled due to regulatory hurdles could possibly be fast-tracked under Trump's America First agenda. If you believe Trump will crack the code on nuclear power... achieve energy dominance... and usher in a “Golden Age for America”... CONSIDER EAGLE ENERGY METALS TODAY!
