What We Do Bringing sought-after desserts and dining experience to a permanent space. Chainsaw LA is a Los Angeles-based culinary project redefining how people gather around food. Led by chef Karla Subero Pittol, the project creates intimate, garage-style dining experiences that blend bold, innovative flavors with the warmth of community. Known for its inventive pies, unexpected ice cream flavors, and fireside pop-ups, Chainsaw LA celebrates Karla’s Venezuelan roots and the vibrant LA food scene. What started in a garage has grown into a beloved underground experience—hosting collaborative dinners, selling pies at local cafés, and building a loyal following one bite at a time. Chainsaw LA is now evolving toward a more permanent home while staying true to its DIY spirit. At its core, it's about more than just food—it’s about connection, creativity, and crafting moments that feel personal, inspired, and uniquely LA. Use of Funds Raised Equipment + Start up Capital. Funds from this campaign will support Chainsaw LA’s transition from a beloved underground dining experience to a fully equipped, community-focused culinary venture. The capital raised will go toward purchasing essential equipment such as commercial kitchen tools and refrigeration units, allowing us to scale our production of pies and ice cream without compromising creativity or quality. It will also provide vital start-up capital to cover early operational costs including staffing, permitting, ingredients, packaging, and infrastructure for upcoming events. This support will give us the foundation to grow intentionally, stay independent, and continue offering intimate, imaginative food experiences that reflect the energy and diversity of Los Angeles.
