About the offering
The BrewRiver team has run restaurants in Cincinnati since 2012. The founders of the GastroPub gained an appreciation for elevated, but approachable cuisine when they worked with Emeril Lagasse in the 1990’s working in the front and back of the house for the world famous NOLA restaurant in New Orleans. Chef Michael Shields worked as an executive chef to help Emeril expand his restaurant group into Atlanta, GA and has also held executive chef positions at The Cheesecake Factory and Bravo. GM Joby Bowman and Chef Michael have run BrewRiver GastroPub and its Catering business for six years now. They are currently expanding into a larger space for a new incarnation, the BrewRiver Creole Kitchen. Simultaneously, they are opening the restaurant inside of Sonder Brewing’s new $5 million dollar facility in an affluent suburb of Cincinnati.
