To date, we've raised over $4,400,000 from over 800 community investors. Founded in 2014, BlocPower has implemented carbon reduction measures in more than 1,100 buildings and over 5,100 city blocks, affecting more than 4,700 families. BlocPower is backed by Goldman Sachs, VoLo Earth and Microsoft with $100s Millions in project value. All proceeds go directly to fund EV infrastructure in underserved communities in Southern California. What We Do Since 2014, BlocPower has been at the forefront of urban decarbonization, replacing fossil fuel-burning equipment with modern, all-electric technology in older residential, commercial, and institutional buildings across America's cities. We've proven that clean energy solutions can be both accessible and economically viable for all communities, particularly those historically underserved by traditional infrastructure investments. Our work has directly addressed the critical intersection of climate change, housing affordability, and social equity. We focus on two high-impact services: 1. Project Financing: In 2025, BlocPower achieved a significant milestone: the U.S. Department of the Treasury's approval to be a CDFI (subject to final certification) as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). CDFI status allows us to offer more competitive rates to property owners, with greater flexibility to prioritize equity. 2. Construction Management: We represent and advocate for building owners throughout a project’s lifecycle to minimize the environmental impact. By looking at properties holistically, we aim to create sustainable assets that benefit communities long-term. Use of Funds Raised Your investment will directly fund BlocPower’s strategic expansion into equitable electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure—a critical component of urban decarbonization that aligns with our mission and expertise. Through this Honeycomb Credit offering, we plan to deploy capital into high-impact EV charging projects, expanding our initial EV charging project in Brooklyn into a broader initiative to democratize clean transportation nationally. By integrating EV infrastructure into buildings in underserved communities, we’re addressing disparities in EV adoption. Our current focus is on quick-service restaurants and multifamily buildings in Southern California, where we partner with women-led and minority-led EV Charging project developers for development and installation.
