What We Do 5 Generation Bakers has been selling our beloved Jenny Lee Swirl Bread across the U.S. for 15 years. Their partnership with QVC propelled them to over $6 million in revenue in 2024, achieving more than 150% growth since 2020. They are now ready to expand into new markets, including RTO sandwiches, French toast, school breakfast programs, and additional baked goods such as cookies, bars, cakes, and whoopie pies. Join them as they share generations of love for sticky goodness with consumers across the country. Use of Funds Raised Purchasing of additional crimp pans + Production department improvements. They have experienced rapid growth over the past six months and are nearing capacity. To keep up, they have hired more employees (now at 50), improved training, streamlined processes, and extended shifts, increasing output by 25%. However, with weekly production at 90,000 loaves, demand still exceeds supply. Anticipating this growth, they began searching for a manufacturing partner last August. After thorough evaluations, they found the ideal bakery just four hours away, capable of producing up to 30,000 loaves per week. This partnership immediately expands their capacity and strengthens our redundancy and contingency planning. They provided 360 of our crimp pans to their partner, and their first February delivery included nearly 5,000 loaves, increasing to 7,800 the second week and an expected 9,000 in the third. To help them operate efficiently, they are supplying another 500 crimp pan sets. Their bakery produces 1,000–1,200 loaves per hour, and their finishing process is even faster with two slicer lines. With their added volume, they aim to enhance our butter and cinnamon sugar application. Currently, they melt butter on an open-flame candy stove, which is inefficient. Investing in a water-jacketed melting tank will allow them to melt butter faster, in larger batches, and pump it directly into the butter bath—making the process cleaner, safer, and more efficient. $100,000 Min Goal Breakdown Purchasing additional signature crimp pans (57.97%) Production department improvements (19.32%) Jacketed Icing Melter equipment (22.56%) Working Capital (0.14%)
