Habib Jamal J.D. is a professional investment analyst at Crowdfund Capital Advisors (CCA) with a passion for innovation. In 2009, Habib worked with a U.S. congressional candidate helping shape their message and devised strategies for national small-donor crowdfunding highlighted in the Huffington Post, National Journal, and the Los Angeles Times. His experience can be leveraged by clients seeking not just to understand crowdfunding laws, but to tap into their practical applications, to harness the power of their networks and turn that power into capital.

Prior to joining Crowdfund Capital Advisors (CCA), Habib was part of a two person marketing team for a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), a bank whose primary mission was community development, which won two American Bankers Association Awards for reaching a non-traditional banking market. The vision is an America in which all people have access to affordable credit, capital and financial services. Habib also worked as an anti-money laundering investigator where he identified illicit transactions involved in fraud, arms dealing, terrorist financing, smuggling, and organized criminal activity for a fortune 500 company and over 170 client firms. He has also worked in several positions in marketing, banking, finance, and government.
At Crowdfund Capital Advisors, Habib is responsible for:
• Conducting research for use creating white papers and building financial models.
• Create financial and predictive models
• Help develop white papers and presentations for end users such as VC’s, SEC, FINRA, House, Senate and White House
• Answer client questions and provide support and information
Habib Jamal graduated from Tulane Law School with a Juris Doctor degree concentrating on business and international law. He received dual Bachelor of Science in Business degrees in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Minnesota’s Curtis L. Carlson School of Management. Other education includes law courses at University of Cambridge, University of Sienna, and University of Amsterdam.
